Man charged after biting Peterborough police officer having been found to be in UK illegally

A man has been charged with numerous offences after being stopped in Peterborough yesterday.

Djibril Djalo, 30, of Cromwell Road in Peterborough, was arrested in Debec Close on Thursday, October 11.

During his arrest he attacked one of the police officers, biting them.

Today he has been charged with possession of cannabis, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, assault with intent to resist arrest, two counts of criminal damage and entering the UK following deportation.
