A man arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a Peterborough student in London has been bailed by police.
Hina Shamim, (21), died last Tuesday as she walked to the library at Kingston University on Tuesday last week.
Hina, formally of Gladstone Street in Peterborough, suffered fatal injuries after she was hit by a white BMW on Penrhyn Road in Kingston, London.
A number of others, including six people in the BMW, a bus driver and a bus passenger, were also injured in the collision.
Hina was studying to be a nutritionist at the London University, and was at the end of her four year course.
A 34-year-old man, the driver of the white BMW, was arrested by the Met Police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The man has now been granted bail by police until July while enquiries continue into the incident.
