Man ‘attacked by two other men in Peterborough’ in alleged early morning assault

Police were called at 1.16am on Thursday morning to reports of violence in Barnstock, Bretton.

But a Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “A crime has been raised for assault, however, this has since been filed due to the victim not wishing to take any action, or there being any viable lines of inquiry.

“The victim did not require medical treatment.”
