A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

The arrest follows a call to police at around 2.45am this morning (Tuesday) with reports of a sexual assault in Station Road, March.

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and a 28-year-old man from March was arrested on suspicion of rape. He remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.”
