London Road in Peterborough was shut for an hour and a half by Cambridgeshire police to fix a billboard.

Police were called at 4.42pm yesterday (Wednesday, November 18) to the junction of Queens Walk and London Road to reports that a large billboard appeared to be loose and there was a risk of it falling on to the road.

Police closed the road for around an hour and a half while the board was taken down and made safe.

The road was reopened at 6.22pm.
