LATEST: Man appears in court after man stabbed numerous times in the neck in Stamford pub
A man has appeared in court in connection with a stabbing at a pub in Stamford at the weekend.
Sean Mitchell, 45, of All Saints Street, Stamford, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He is facing a charge of wounding with intent following the incident at the St Mary’s Vaults pub, in St Mary’s Street, at around 12.30pm on Sunday.

Hide AdA 53-year-old Stamford man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital following the attack with multiple wounds to the neck. He has since been discharged.
Mitchell was remanded in custody by magistrates and will next appear at Lincoln Crown Court on July 18.
