Inquest to open into death of Peterborough man found on Norfolk beach

Thursday 9.45am: An inquest into the death of a Peterborough man whose body was found on the Norfolk coast will open today (15 January).

Steve Foster was found at the bottom of the slipway in East Runton at about 7.30am on Sunday, 11 January.

The inquest into the 52-year-old’s death will be opened by the Norfolk coroner.

A spokesman for Norfolk police said: “Police were called at around 7.30am on Sunday January 11 to reports that the body of a man had been found on the beach at East Runton.

“The death is still being treated as unexplained; however, it is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
