An inquest into the death of a woman found murdered in a Peterborough house will be formally adjourned tomorrow (Tuesday).

The hearing into the death of Ramute Butkiene, will be held at Peterborough Registry Office.

Miss Butkiene’s dismembered body was found at a property in Mayor’s Walk on Friday June 5.

Her torso was discovered in a suitcase, with arms, legs and head missing. Some body parts have been recovered, but searches are ongoing across Peterborough.

Vitautas Jokubauskas (57) of Mayor’s Walk has been charged with the murder of mother of one Miss Butkiene. He is next due to appear in court on Friday, September 9.
