Four arrested after two men stabbed in violence in Peterborough street

Four men have been arrested after violence broke out in a Peterborough street, which saw two men stabbed.

Police were called at 1.30pm on Friday (2 October) with reports of violence in Cromwell Road, Peterborough after troble broke out between two groups of men.

Three men were initially taken to Peterborough City Hospital where one man remains with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Today police said two men - including the man who is still in hospital - were stabbed in the incident.

Three men, aged 22, 26 and 28 from Peterborough, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and have been released on police bail until 10 October.

A fourth man, aged 28 from Peterborough, was also arrested yesterday (4 October) on suspicion of violent disorder and remains in custody.
