Fire at Peterborough restaurant after arson attack

Arsonists set on fire the back of a Peterborough restaurant which spread to the building.

The restaurant was in Cromwell Road, in the city centre, and fire crews were called at 1.40am this morning (Thursday, August 27).

The crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground extinguished the flames before returning to their stations by 2.30am.
