Donations plea as vandals strike at Peterboroughs Ferry Meadows

Visitors to the park can park for free while repairs are made, but people are being urged to donate to the Nene Park Trust, which runs the park, as a result.

A spokesman said: “Over the weekend, our parking payment machines were vandalised. While we wait for these to be fixed, we are offering free parking to visitors. Our parking income is critical to helping us maintain the Park, so please consider donating during this time: www.nenepark.org.uk/donate”
