He left home without his mobile phone, wallet and his glasses which he needs to see properly. It is believed he had some sort of fit the day before he went missing that rendered him unconscious.

Police said he was having lunch at home with his landlord last Thursday when for reasons unknown he got up and walked out of the house without saying a word. He has not been seen since.

Bert frequents pubs in the area daily. He has many friends that he could seek shelter or help from and they might not know he has been reported missing, Bert also might not know he has been reported missing.

Police would like to thank everybody who has given up their time over the weekend to join in the search for him. This includes members of the local community and the volunteer search and rescue teams from Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
