Christmas presents stolen by Peterborough car thief

Police were called at just after 10.10pm on Christmas Eve to reports of a man breaking into a car in Woodston.
A spokeswoman added: “Officers attended but the suspect had made off before they arrived.

Hide Ad“Food and gifts were stolen from one car in Wye Valley Road. A further two crimes were recorded for attempted theft from a motor vehicle in Thorley Crescent and vehicle nuisance in Crystal Drive.
“No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
“Anyone with information should contact us on 101 or via webchat quoting incident 575 of December 24.”
Residents in Sugar Way have taken to social media to highlight the theft of Christmas presents and to warn people to be vigilant.
