CCTV released after man robbed in unprovoked attack in Peterborough

A man was assaulted and had his car stolen during a robbery in Peterborough.

At about 3pm on Friday, May 13, the victim was sat in his car using his mobile phone in Wheatdole, Orton Goldhay when he was approached by four men.

They opened the door of his silver Honda Civic and demanded he hand over money before assaulting him.

The victim got out of the vehicle and was assaulted further before the men made off in his vehicle.

Officers have now released CCTV of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.

Detective Constable Liam Sweeney said: “The victim was going about his own business when he was subject to an unprovoked attack. We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images.”
