CCTV appeal after Peterborough thief causes £16,000 of damage to Porsche at railway station

Thousands of pounds of damage was caused to a Porsche parked at Peterborough station.

British Transport Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after the incident on August 3.

The incident happened at about 4pm when a man smashed the window of a Porsche and then climbed inside. He rummaged through the car and then stole a number of items.

Whilst inside the car, he caused extensive damage to the interior.

It is estimated that the man caused more than £16,000 worth of damage to the car, as well as taking a number of items.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
