Cannabis farm busted by police in Peterborough

Police have raided a large cannabis farm in Peterborough and arrested a man.

The cannabis farm found in Eastfield Road, Peterborough.

Officers executed a warrant in Eastfield Road, Peterborough, yesterday morning, Monday December 18, and uncovered a cannabis factory.

Some 450 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £250,000, along with equipment, have been seized by officers as a result.

Police tweeted: "Santa isn't the only person busy at this time of year."

Jetnor Aga, 23, of no known address, was arrested and has been charged with abstracting electricity and being concerned in the production of cannabis.

He appeared at Cambridge Magistrates' Court this morning, Tuesday December 19.
