Burglary and series of thefts from vehicles in Yaxley linked by police

The house burglary, which took place in Cookson Close is being linked to the series of thefts from motor vehicles in Cookson Close and Scott Drive overnight between Tuesday April 19 and Wednesday April 20.

In the case of the burglary, thieves broke into a garage and a pedal cycle was stolen.

With regards to the theft from motor vehicles, it appears that the suspects have specifically targeted insecure vehicles.

Anyone who believes that they saw or heard anything suspicious, or are aware that their vehicle has been entered during that evening is urged to call DC Mark Joslin at Huntingdon police station on 101.
