A 40-year-old man from Bourne posed as a 16-year-old boy on an internet chatroom before sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.
Darren Hadman, (40), of Wetherby Close in Bourne, has admitted a series of sexual offences involving the teenage girl.
In March 2013 Hadman posed on an online chat site called Palringo as a 16-year-old boy from Lincolnshire called Tom. He befriended a 14-year-old schoolgirl and the pair initially started talking about hobbies.
After a period of chatting Hadman then started asking the girl to send him pictures of herself – firstly clothed but he then began asking for more indecent photographs, which the victim sent. Hadman also sent her pictures of himself clothed before sending her indecent pictures of himself.
Towards the end of March 2013 Hadman suggested that they meet up sometime before she went to school. They met up in his car in a car park in the Sleaford area where he carried out an act of sexual touching on the young girl. He also sent her a message saying he wanted to meet up again so they could have sex. The victim believed she was truly in love with Hadman; the relationship finally came to an end when she told her parents.
Hadman was arrested at his home address on 4th April 2013. At Lincoln Crown Court yesterday (Monday 9th March) he pleaded guilty to sexual touching of a female aged 14; meeting a child following sexual grooming; inciting a child aged 14 years to engage in sexual activity; distribution of indecent images of children; six counts of making of indecent images of children; and possession of 318 indecent images/videos of children.
Hadman is due to be sentenced on 7th April at Lincoln Crown Court.
