Attempted murder arrest in Peterborough: Fourth man released on police bail

A man from Peterborough arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Fengate on Wednesday has been released on police bail.

The 34-year-old man has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on June 24.

In total, four men from Peterborough have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 35-year-old and 48-year-old have been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood on June 23 and an 18-year-old will answer bail the following day.

Police were called by the ambulance service at about 10.30am with reports of a man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
