Arsonists set trees on fire in Peterborough

Smoke was seen across part of Peterborough this afternoon (Monday) after trees were set alight by arsonists.

Fire crews were called to Norwood Lane in Paston, Peterborough at 12.20pm after reports of an area of trees being set alight.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.

The blaze comes just a few days after fire fighters were called to four arsons in the space of a few hours on the same street.
