Arsonist who went missing after breaking Peterborough temporary prison licence located

Police have this morning arrested a Hollesley Bay prisoner who breached the conditions of a temporary release licence to Peterborough.

Phillip Willis, 64, who was serving an indeterminate sentence for arson and making off without payment, was released yesterday morning (Tuesday November 3) for a period of overnight leave with conditions to report to an approved premises in Peterborough at 5pm.

Willis failed to comply with this condition and therefore is in breach of his temporary release licence and was reported as missing to police by the prison.

He was subsequently found this morning and detained.
