Arrested driver taken to hospital after crash in Peterborough

A driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after his car crashed.

The 31-year-old was initially arrested in Barrowfield, Parnwell, this morning (Thursday).

He was later de-arrested and taken hospital for medical treatment, a police spokeswoman said.

The man had been arrested at a house after being found by police dog Bane.
