Armed police carried out a drugs warrant on a Peterborough street this morning.

Eyewitness Fiona Henry said she saw at least six armed police, two dog units and two unmarked police cars in Park Lane, Eastfield.

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “A 35-year-old man, of no known address, was arrested in Park Lane, Peterborough, this morning following a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

“He has since been released with no further action.”
