Armed police arrest man making threats with knife in Yaxley street
Armed police were called to Yaxley on Sunday afternoon after reports of a man with a knife in the street.
Officers from the Armed Policing Unit attended the scene in Chapel Street at 1.38pm on Sunday, March 19 and a 37-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of attempting to commit grievous bodily harm.
He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough.
