At about 2.30pm on Saturday, November 7, the woman in her 20s went to check on pregnant sheep, which belong to a local farmer, when she saw two dogs loose, chasing the livestock and causing them distress.

The woman challenged the owners and pointed out signage at the entrance of the field, which states all dogs must be kept on their leads. After a verbal argument, one of the dog owners pushed the woman out of his way, causing her to step back.
