Appeal after Peterborough Morrisons shop workers racially abused and threatened with wooden pole

Staff at a Morrisons store in Peterborough were racially abused and threatened with a wooden pole.

At about 10.15am on Tuesday, August 14 a man was asked to leave the supermarket in Lincoln Road after he was caught shoplifting.

He returned shortly after, shouting abuse and threatening staff with the pole.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who might recognise the man pictured.
