Appeal after Bretton Park hit by more fly-tipping

An appeal has been launched to try and catch who has been fly-tipping at Bretton Park in recent weeks.

Peterborough’s Prevention and Enforcement Service has issued the appeal, stating: “Bretton Park has been hit by a number of fly-tips over the last couple of weeks. The first load of mainly black bags was fly-tipped early evening on January 4 and the second load was fly-tipped over the weekend of January 17-20. If you witness fly-tipping please tip us off. Do you recognise any of this waste? Please contact us in confidence on 01733 747474.” Recently, travellers left behind a large amount of rubbish, as well as faeces, after leaving the park, drawing the anger of MP Paul Bristow. And covert cameras has also been set up due to the ongoing fly-tipping problems in the area.
