Friday 10.45am: A man was knocked out cold in an assault outside a kebab shop in Peterborough.

The 43-year-old victim from Peterborough was assaulted by two men following an argument outside Eastern Delight in Lincoln Road on November 15 at around 2.10am.

Now police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Alex Lambert said: “This was a vicious attack in which the victim was knocked unconscious and then kicked while he was on the ground. I would urge anyone who has information about what happened to contact police.

“I am particularly keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as I believe he has important information about what happened that night.”
