They have just returned from their latest visit and Rosie said: “We were able to visit all our families. The weather was extremely hot. We enjoyed a wonderful concert by the children at our sanatorium. All the families we support have severely disabled children and, unlike in the UK, they get very little help. Sadly, disabled children and people with dementia are hidden away by their families. We are working hard to change people’s attitudes to disability and conditions like Alzheimer’s.”

They are now collecting goods for their Autumn charity sale 10am to noon on Saturday, October 15 at All Saints’ Church Hall, Park Road, Peterborough.

Donations can be delivered to 51 Apsley Way, Longthorpe, Peterborough, PE3 9NZ, or call 01733 268340.
