A police and council cricket team were left stumped by a squad from Peterborough mosques, as charity fundraisers racked up the runs - and pounds - during a challenge match.

The two teams played the charity match last week. A total of £127 was raised through snacks stalls managed by Jack Hunt School students from the community. All contributions will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

The match was managed by colleagues from Vivacity who also provided umpires.

The score was Mosques 149-6 whilst Police/Council Team made 136-6.
