Local children performed a nativity play for residents at a Peterborough care home on December 10.
Children from Family Action Cygnets Pre-School visited Anchor’s Clayburn Court on Clayburn Road as part of the care home’s Christmas programme.
Nikki Ayliff, home manager at Clayburn Court, said: “Everyone loved having the children here – it is such an important part of the festive season.
“We always love having visitors at Clayburn Court, but especially at this time of year as Christmas can be tough for some people. The children’s visit today was great fun and a real boost for residents’ wellbeing.”
Queenie Taylor, 89, said “The nativity is such a special part of Christmas, and it’s been lovely having the children here today.”
