Children in critical condition in hospital after serious crash in Cambridgeshire - road closed

Two children are in a critical condition after a serious collision which has closed a road in Cambridgeshire this afternoon, Tuesday August 16.

Police are currently at the scene of the serious collision on the A1307, Babraham Road, near Wandlebury Country Park.

The collision happened at about 2.15pm today and involved a Ford C-Max, Range Rover and a Honda Civic.

Two children have been taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries. Their condition is described as critical.

The road is currently closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area as it may be closed for some time.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Roads Policing Unit.
