Peterborough Sailability, which is run entirely by volunteers, has been able to buy a new marquee for its base at Ferry Meadows.

The donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation was nominated by staff the Hampton branch of Norwich & Peterborough (N&P) Building Society, which is part of the Yorkshire.

Bob Bailey, co-founder and head of operations at Sailability, said: “We’re an entirely self-funded charity and we wouldn’t have been able to purchase this much-needed marquee if it wasn’t for this donation.”
