How much can you turn £50 into for The Papworth Trust

Papworth Trust has launched its annual Accumulator Challenge fundraiser – an event that has so far raised £25,000 to support disabled and older people in the county.

Participating companies are given £50 and four months to raise as much money as possible from the initial stake.

With prizes including top fundraiser and most novel way of raising money, the charity hope to see a fun competitive streak across Cambridgeshire.

Divya Kalychurn, corporate partnership fundraiser, said: “The Accumulator Challenge has become a popular fundraising fixture in the Papworth Trust calendar.

“Businesses, big and small, enjoy the friendly rivalry of seeing who can make the most profit, while knowing every penny they raise will support our work with disabled and older people in Cambridgeshire.

“It is great fun with companies getting plenty of fundraising and PR support along the way.

“We have already had great interest in this year’s event across the county as we strive to make this the best Accumulator Challenge yet.
