Employment support group Seetec hosted a jobs fair last Thursday to help people find work or to volunteer with charities.

Over 500 customers met employers from 20 companies in Seetec’s office in Priestgate. Team leader Alex Parnell said: “It’s an event that the customers have asked for and it has the support of people, employers and training providers in Peterborough. The event has been a great success.”

The fairs are held every three months. Seetec state that since the work programme began in 2012, 2,522 people have earned a job.

Those invited to the fair are currently on a work programme which people can sign up for by speaking to their job centre adviser.
