Employees of Peterborough based manufacturing business, Redring Xpelair Group, had the chance to become film stars for a day.
They have been the lead characters in the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) new exporting video campaign.
Redring Xpelair, of Newcombe Way, Orton Southgate, was chosen to take part in the Get Exporting campaign because of its exporting success.
An LEP spokesman said: “From innovative water heating to air quality solutions, Redring Xpelair is a fantastic ambassador for both Peterborough and the UK’s manufacturing industries.
“Exporting has a reputation for being difficult, so the LEP launched Get Exporting; a campaign to give businesses the help, support and guidance they need to grow.”
Filmed by Peterborough based production company, Posh Gecko, the Get Exporting series hopes to inspire more businesses to get exporting to increase their sales.
Nitin Patel, chief executive of Redring Xpelair, said: “We export as a result of being an international business. The way we become an international business is by getting to know our local markets in the countries we export to and really understanding their needs.”
Neil Darwin, LEP chief executive, said: “Redring Xpelair is a global business that enhances the GCGP area and its economy.
He added: “ The aim of the Get Exporting campaign is to encourage more businesses to export by sharing success stories of local companies.
