The new lease agreement was overseen by Peterborough-based commercial agents Barker Storey Matthews (BSM) who acted for Heron Foods in the assignment of its lease.

Simon Burton, director at BSM, said: “The Causeway Centre is a popular town centre location, and with a good footfall, we were confident of finding a replacement occupier in a position to take over the lease.

“It’s a boost to Whittlesey’s retail profile that it has attracted a national retailer to the town.”
