Bring your dogs to Summer Fete

The waggiest tail and best trick performed by a dog and owner are among the fun dog show classes to be held at Thorpe Hall Hospice's Summer Fete on Saturday (July 9).

There will also be rosettes for the prettiest female dog, handsome dog, best rescue dog, best senior dog over seven years and best child handler.

The dog show will commence at 1.30pm with all bookings made by 12.30pm. Booking forms available from the Thorpe Hall Summer Fete Facebook page. Nuvet’s or e-mail [email protected]. Payment on the day.

The dog show is just one of the attractions organised for this year’s Summer Fete, being held to raise funds for the Sue Ryder hospice in Longthorpe, Peterborough.

Along with the raffle offering amazing prizes, a dedicated team of volunteers have organised the fete which will be offering a wide range of activities and events to ensure a full day packed and brimming over with fun for all the family.

Such attractions include a 60ft inflatable assault course, afternoon cream teas, ‘have a go at archery’, a magical story time with Princesses, food court and the refreshment area including hot roast, beer tent and barbecue.

If that was not enough there is an action packed programme in the arena including; belly dancers, Zumba display, street dance, music and so much more.

Gates will be open between 11am and 4pm with entry costing £2 with children under five free.
