Armed police hunt gang of men after reports of gun shots fired at residential address

A manhunt was launched by armed police after a group of four or five men threatened residents with a gun.

Armed officers were called to a house in Macbeth Close in Hartford, Huntingdon, at 5.20pm on Friday, August 5, to reports that a gun had been fired.

Officers attended an address in Macbeth Close and spoke to the occupants who said they had been threatened with a gun by a group of around four or five men.

One of the occupants escaped by jumping from an upstairs window and two further occupants barricaded themselves in their rooms.

Property including a bicycle and a mobile phone were stolen.

Police believe that this was an isolated incident and an investigation is underway.
