In what is usually a closely contested battle, there was a convincing winner, with more than eight per cent separating the top three positions. Congratulations to Peterborough Northern Star Girls for scooping the fourth Peterborough ‘Skip of Gold’ accolade. The group managed to edge out 2nd Nene Scouts who were worthy runners-up, while third position was secured by Club 73 Choir.

Peterborough Northern Star (PNS) Girls currently operate teams at the U13s, U14s and U15s age groupd.

The club delivers extended training sessions aimed at building more strength, stamina and dietary regimes - all of which are achieved through boot camps, gym and boxing classes, over and above the standard football training.

PNS Girls will use the funds to buy new kits both for match day and training, making all participants feel like they ‘belong’ to a team. In addition, the money will be spent on other apparatus, such as balls, cones, parachutes, water bottles, and bags; designed to offer further development in a fun environment.
