18-year-old is sky high on birthday

Many people have little recollection of their 18th birthdays, but for Oliver Allan his special day proved to be an unforgettable experience.

Oliver from Werrington took part in a skydive at Sibson Airfield to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The teenager has so far raised £970, but this could double thanks to the Morrisons Foundation where staff match the amount you fundraise.

Oliver said: “The experience was one of the best things I’ve done so far - hanging out the edge of the plane is a feeling you can’t replicate. I really want to say a huge thank you to anyone that donated. It’s gone to an amazing cause.”
