VIDEO: Spartan races set to challenge Peterborough runners

Athletes of all abilities can test themselves as the Spartan Race series comes to Peterborough for two days this summer.

Taking place at Elton Hall just outside the city, Spartan sees competitors race over a choice of distances littered with obstacles.

On Saturday September 3 the Reebok Spartan Sprint takes place over 5-6km with more than 20 Signature Spartan Obstacles.

It’s perfect for anyone new to Spartan or a seasoned athlete looking to set new personal records. And you can do two parts of the Spartan Trifecta and complete the Spartan Super on Sunday.

The Super is a 13km course with more than 20 obstacles to challenge competitors.

All finishers get a free beer, free professional photos, finishers medal, a trifecta medal wedge piece, racer headband and a finisher t-shirt.

Prices for the Sprint event start at £52. Prices for the Super are from £60.
