Truckfest is coming... and we have tickets to give away

Truckfest will return to Peterborough Arena on May Bank Holiday weekend and this year it's going to be huge, with loads of new events and acts lined up.

And to mark the occasion we have teamed up with organisers to offer PT readers the chance to win five family passes (2 adults and 2 kids) and one VIP family pass (to include a meet and greet with the Ice Road Truckers and Jesse McClure from Storage Hunters).

Each year Truckfest grows with more giant vehicles and people attending the hugely popular outdoor event.

Whilst retaining its unique feel, the Truckfest events are set to enhance the visitor experience with new elements not previously seen , bringing them right up to date with all that’s best in the road haulage industry, entertainment features and main arena action.

TV’s Ice Road Truckers stars Lisa Kelly and Todd Dewey will be greeting fans all weekend, and new to the event this year the outrageous Jesse McClure from Storage Hunters will be joining Todd Dewey in the main arena as hosts, so be prepared for some fun and frolics! Who knows what could happen!

And the fabulous Monster Trucks Swamp Thing and Slingshot will be in battle in the main arena with lots of stunts and car crushing which is always a popular attraction with the kids and the big kids too!

With live action and stunts from our top stunt man Terry Grant and live action shows from him and Jason Smyth in the main arena all weekend there is always plenty to do and see all weekend at Truckfest Peterborough.

Over the weekend the famous light parade will light up in the main arena for weekend guests along with a fabulous firework display and live entertainment in a brand-new plaza right in the heart of the action with a large bar area, seating, games area and a live stage with entertainment from London’s top Elvis tribute - Gary Graceland, the Birmingham Blues Brothers and the Caverners, a top Beatles tribute act.

There is also the trucker’s bar with karaoke, children’s funfair and exhilarating thrill rides and much more.

Also, at the event will be the massively popular huge machines from the top movie Transformers and for Dr Who fans The Daleks will be appearing all weekend.

Another first sees Matilda and the other stars from the hit TV show Robot Wars fighting live.!
