The work couldn’t be more diverse, there is painting, printmaking and sculpture of course but there are also video pieces, collages and photography. The styles are as varied as the media with something to please the artistic palette of all visitors.

If you have lived and were educated in Peterborough the chances are that you will know one of these four faces, as they taught art for many years in various Peterborough Schools. Now, they are all retired from teaching and have returned to their first love – making Art.

Peter Hayward, Jerome Hunt, John McGowan and Graham Ward made art throughout their teaching careers and are now showing their work as part of the Open Exhibition. You will also be able to see more of their work during Peterborough Artists’ Open Studios later in the year.
