As prices for staycations continue to soar, holiday-seekers can grab a bargain by using a Peterborough charity’s top-of-the-range caravans at two popular seaside locations.

Family Voice Peterborough has caravans at Butlins in Skegness and Haven at Caister-on-Sea which it uses to provide respite for families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

But the charity also rents the caravans out to the wider public and, despite prices rising everywhere due to high demand for a UK holiday, Family Voice has decided to keep theirs low to allow residents in Peterborough to enjoy an affordable seaside holiday.

For instance, while a four-day caravan stay in Caister during the summer holidays could set you back £1,012.50, the same accommodation with Family Voice will cost £435 - a difference of more than £570.

Similar deals are also on offer during term time, while there is no longer a requirement to put forward a £100 deposit.

Money raised from renting out the caravans will help Family Voice continue to provide support for families with children and young people with SEND. This includes signposting to services, hosting events, sharing evidence and expertise with the city council and handing out emergency food parcels.

The caravans are both modern and include on-site parking as well as access to site facilities.
