Spooky Tours: Go behind the scenes at Burghley House by torchlight ... if you dare
Back with a brand new route, next month sees the return of popular behind-the-scenes torchlit tours of Burghley House.
From October 19-31, Burghley’s Spooky Tours will once again offer a chance to journey by flickering torchlight into the creepy cellars to explore the forbidding outbuildings and centuries-old cloisters, unearthing Burghley’s secret history.
Led by local ghostly expert Martin Tempest, the tours will reveal Burghley’s spooky stories across the centuries. Tours take place at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm daily (excluding Sundays) and are designed to be scary, but fun.
