Queensgate in Peterborough launches ‘Happy Me’ poem competition - with prizes up for grab

Queensgate Shopping Centre has launched its ‘Happy Me’ poem competition and is inviting children, families, adults and individuals to write a happy poem.

Created to remind people in Peterborough about all the good and happy things in life past, present and future, the competition is open for all to enter. The winning entry, selected by the centre director and colleagues, will receive a £150 Queensgate gift card, plus there are prizes for second and third place.

“We are all going through a challenging time right now but it’s important to remember all the good things and what makes us happy,” said marketing manager at Queensgate, Rebecca Keefe.

“We would love to hear from as many people as possible and invite them to share their words and memories with us. Whether it’s a past birthday party, a favourite toy or just being with their family, whatever makes you smile is what ‘Happy Me’ is about.”

To enter, people are invited to write their words on a piece of paper and decorate it (not essential) and send it to [email protected] or post as a direct message on Facebook at www.facebook.co./queensgate.

Entries will be shared on the Facebook page for all to enjoy.
