Mybaby, based at The Parade, Lawson Avenue, Stanground, welcomed its first customers on Thursday (April 29).
The store stocks a wide range of items for new parents such as bonnets, teethers, rattles, changing bags and strollers from a range of top brands such as Icklebubba and iCandy.
They also have a further catalogue for customers to browse through and have items ordered in.
It has been opened by Natalie Harper and her husband Alex as a much needed place to shop for new parents after the closure of stores such as Kiddicare, Mothercare and John Lewis in the city in recent years.

Natalie said: “The response has been amazing and so many have been supportive. We’ve had people thanking us for opening up a shop like this and I’ve spoken to a few parents who have recently had to buy some of these larger items online and said they wish that we’d have been open then.
“We’ve had a great opening and we will be continuing to look to expand our range in store.”
Mybaby have been taking appointments alongside accepting walk-ins for the first week and as of next week (May 3), will be expanding the walk-in times to:
Monday- Wednesday: 9am-5pm
Thursday 12pm-8pm
Friday-Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 10am-4pm
Appointments can still be booked on 01733 963068 and you can follow Mybaby on Facebook or visit their website at https://mybabyltd.com/.
