Ferry Meadows, located in Nene Park, allows dogs the chance to stretch their legs on the meadows or even enjoy a woodland walk. There are no ‘dogs on leads’ rules in Nene Park, except from the play areas at Ferry Meadows and the car parks.
Thorpe Meadows is situated to the east of Ferry Meadows and is home to Nene Park’s rowing lake, riverside walks and a sculpture collection. If you’re looking for somewhere close by but a little different, this is a great place to walk your pooch.

Orton Mere connects Ferry Meadows to Thorpe Meadows and is a lovely walk for you and your four-legged friend. It boasts plenty of open spaces which are perfect for a relaxing stroll.
The pretty Barnwell Country Park provides a pleasant, friendly environment for pooches, with areas where your dog is allowed off a lead. It’s worth noting that dogs are not permitted in the play area.
