Pub Offers FREE '˜Mothering Sundaes' and £500 for Peterborough Sweetest Mum

The Boathouse Chef & Brewer pub on Thorpe Meadows is encouraging guests to share what they love about their mum to be in with a chance of winning an experience day for two worth £500.

The pub will also be rewarding hard-working mums with a special sweet treat in the run up to the day – a free ‘mothering sundae’ for every mum nominated.

Local mums will be able to tuck into a delicious Salted Caramel Sundae made from chocolate and clotted cream ice cream, vanilla cheesecake and Belgian chocolate brownie chunks, with whipped double cream and an indulgent helping of salted caramel sauce.

Darren Studholme at the Boathouse, said: “Mums are always on the go and always thinking of others before themselves, so this year we wanted to give something back with a delicious treat to help sweeten up their day.

The Fox & Hounds in Longthorpe is also taking part in the giveaway.

Every entry will receive a voucher for a free mothering sundae to be redeemed in the pub.
